Iuvention noun (yoo-ven-sh’n) Derived: Latin iuvare (to assist) and iuvens (youth) Definition: 1. Assisting others to renew themselves. Particularly used in a business setting, to denote assistance to achieve growth through sustainability action or energy transition. 2. (slang) ‘Invention for you’.
Recognised thought leader in the applied sustainable energy research space. ISD methodology co-author, with 25 years’ success at guiding clean technology deployment strategy. Global experience in the creation of new sustainable profit streams for asset intensive industries.
DELIVERY
Experts in project and strategic asset management best practice, Iuvention’s delivery assurance consultants lock in ownership of change imperatives and CAPEX & OPEX containment objectives with key stakeholders, agreeing a practical project roadmap and overarching master schedule for all key design, delivery and risk mitigation actions. We also offer to stay until best practices are sustainably embedded.
DESIGN
We quantify and prioritise operational (people, process and systems) exposures by reference to the gaps identified between current and best practice; we further assess external risks (such as from climate change or supply chain failures) and evaluate commercial risks (such as from project delays or CAPEX blowouts). We then articulate the key exposure mitigation actions required (and design the remedial pathways) to assure that sustainability design projects are appropriately de-risked.
DIAGNOSTICS
The first step of any Iuvention delivery engagement involves a diagnostic study stage, where we may elect to employ our proprietary ESD & NCVLC™ frameworks to identify sustainable design objectives and will deploy our proven F-A-C-E-T™ and P-R-I-S-M-S™ diagnostic tools, as appropriate, to quantify asset and project management risks, performance efficiency improvement opportunities and overarching cultural change imperatives.
DELIVERY
We specify a series of transition projects, in a practical implementation sequence, to meet tangible reductions in emissions to Net Zero or to ESufficiency™ goals (& frequently beyond). We call this our Pathway to Net Zero (P2NZTM) plan. We also offer to remain on-hand to drive systematic execution, up until the point where targeted efficiencies are securely delivered and can be properly maintained over the full life cycle of strategic assets.
DESIGN
Iuvention’s closed-loop Efficient Sustainability Design™ (ESD) methodology is based on the high efficiency, clean technology thought leadership contained in the original Integrated Sustainable Design (ISD) model. The ESD methodology has been specifically expanded to identify and then maximise recoverable waste, cost-effectiveness and natural capital value extraction benefits for strategic asset owners.
DIAGNOSTICS
Using our proprietary Natural Capital Value Ledger Charting (NCVLC™) tools, we effectively conduct a comprehensive ‘energy-mass-balancing’ exercise to precisely pinpoint current deficiencies in how our clients plan to (or currently) deploy their strategic assets. We map out the optimum natural capital value extraction & energy security equations (as well as the most cost-efficient outcomes) and calculate the optimum solution ranges for meeting different result horizons.
